Loose Leaf Herbal Tea
Description: It’s not only for cats! Catnip is a member of the mint family of aromatic herbs. The dried herb can be added to soups, stews and salads for a mint flavored kick. You can even chew on catnip leaves after a meal to freshen your breath. You can brew catnip with other herbs or use it by itself with lemon and honey. It’s known to be high in vitamins, a natural muscle relaxer, a mild sedative, a digestive aid and help settle stomach cramps.
Cats love catnip too! It gives cats a feeling of pleasure and even euphoria when they inhale it. You can use it to make your own cat toys and help to calm an anxious cat.
Infusion: Add 1-3 tsp herb to 1 cup boiling water and infuse for approximately ten minutes. Drink 3 times daily.
