Celebrate love with this lighty floral cup of beautiful black tea. Our China Rose takes our fine Keemun Congou black tea and mixes it with delicate scarlet rose petals. Grown in the Anhui Province in China, Keemun Congou is often considered a "breakfast tea" because of its delicate malty taste and low astringency. It has a light floral aroma with notes of wood and almost a wine-like quality. The rose petals accentuate the floral quality of Keemun beautifully!

Amount of tea per 8oz cup: 1 tsp
Water Temperature: 195F
Steep Time: 3-5 minutes

Such a delightful tea!
Some years ago when I was first getting into teas, a friend gifted me a small sample of this tea from her own collection, and of all the teas I sampled, this was one of my favorites. Now, years later, I'm revisiting this gem to share with a new friend :) The black tea by itself is delicious, and the rose petals add a delicate floral touch. If you're not keen on black teas because they always taste too bitter no matter what you do, this is an extremely forgiving tea even if you over-steep it. A little splash of milk to add some creaminess elevates this tea even further, in my opinion!
