Cuban Blend is our most popular dark roast blend, bar none. It is bold, without being overwhelming, and has a rich full body. It is masterfully blended to capture the essence of the traditional Caribbean coffee you would find growing up on the islands. Dark French Roast and Costa Rica Continental Roast come together to create a smooth yet complex heavy bodied cup that will give that much needed pick me up on those slow mornings. Cuban blend is the favorite "wake-up" coffee of owner Stan Prestogeorge. For the full Cuban effect, he recommends brewing it at double strength with 2/3 coffee and 1/3 warm half & half. It also brews an excellent dark espresso or moka pot!

Great coffee
I discovered PrestoGeorge while visiting Pittsburgh in May 2025. I've been hooked on their coffee ever since. I usually order 3 different blends each month, trying to determine which is my favorite. I can't really decide. All of their dark roast and medium-dark roasts are excellent. If I had to choose one favorite, it would be the Cuban Blend.

Great Dark Roast Coffee
Years ago, I visited Prestogeorge and asked for a dark roast coffee that was also smooth and not bitter and they recommended Cuban Blend. This has been our special coffee since then. When we have visitors and they take a first sip, a frequent first comment is, "Wow, this is good coffee." By the way, our go-to milder decaf coffee for a bit lighter taste is J. P. Hearty Decaf.

My favorite Prestogeorge coffee! Bold smooth taste without any bitterness. I only purchase Prestogeorge coffee because of the product quality, great customer service, and best tasting coffee I ever had. Well worth the money!!! I do not even consider the grocery store selection (even the BOGO offers).
