Limited Quantity Gesha (Geisha) Coffee!
From the farm known as "Los Gatos" (The Cats) in Honduras, farmer Joel Gonzales Acosta grows only the most prized coffee varietals in the high elevations of Honduras' Santa Barbara mountain range, the second tallest in the country. Prestogeorge is proud to roast his naturally processed Gesha (or Geisha) varietal, one of the most famous and sought after coffees varietals in the world.
This coffee is the most flavorful and unique bean we have in stock. Light roasted but not harsh in acidity by any means. Hand picked to zero defects and sun dried, the Gesha coffee varietal is famous for good reason -- the extremely fruit and floral forward flavors and smooth finish. We find that Joel's coffee is no different, and what really struck our master roasters upon first taste was the aroma of rose petal from the coffee grinds and the red fruit tasting notes, which are rare in coffee. Citrus fruits and darker berries are common fruit notes in coffee, but it is not every day you find such strong flavors of raspberries and strawberries, hence our name for it, Strawberry Fields. Don't miss out on this rare and elegant lot of coffee for the coffee lover in your home!

History of Gesha Coffee
Gesha (commonly known as Geisha) coffee, originally discovered in Ethiopia’s Gori Gesha region, is a varietal that has captivated coffee enthusiasts worldwide for its unique origins and growing conditions. The plant itself, Coffea arabica, is known for its high altitude preference, thriving at elevations between 1,200 and 2,000 meters, where the cooler temperatures and abundant rainfall create optimal conditions for its development. Introduced to Panama in the 1960s and popularized in the early 2000s, Geisha is celebrated not only for its rare genetic lineage but also for its resilience and adaptability, making it one of the most prized and sought-after coffees globally. Often considered one of the best coffees in the world, Gesha offers a luxurious and unforgettable coffee experience for connoisseurs.
