Vienna Roast is the lightest of our darkest roasts. The coffee beans are roasted to right after the second crack. This leaves you with a dark brown bean with a little shine of oil on the outside. You will have milder spicy notes than a French or Italian roast, but more of the natural flavor of the coffee beans will present themselves in the brew. Vienna roast is a great choice if you want a little bit of smokey flavor, while still having a full-bodied dark roast. An excellent choice for a bold espresso or just a strong but flavorful cup!
