Loose Leaf Herbal Tea
Description: Fennel Seed has a delicate flavor similar to a mild anise or licorice. This herb can be used to spice sausage, fish, tomato sauce, marinade, bread or chewed after a meal to aid in digestion while serving as a breath mint. Aside from treating indigestion, these seeds are known to alleviate menstrual cramps, colic, constipation, glaucoma, and respiratory disorders. They contain lots of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.
Tea or Infusion: Add 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds to one cup of boiling water and steep for ten minutes. Crushed seeds will bring forth a much stronger cup, although not necessary.
