Loose Leaf Green Tea
Houjicha is a roasted Japanese Bancha Twig Tea. Unlike other green teas that are steamed or pan-fired, the leaves and steams from the Japanese green tea Bancha plant are roasted over charcoal, resulting in its distinctive smoky, nutty flavor. Because it is roasted, the caffeine content of this tea is lower than other green teas. Some people find this tea to be soothing for the digestive system.

Steep Time: 2-3 minutes
