Loose Leaf Semi-Fermented Tea
The buttery taste and aroma of this tea is unlike any other Oolong on the planet. Our Milk Oolong-Reserve List tea hails from the Fujian Province of China and is from the plant cultivar Jin Xuan, originating from Taiwan. Perfect timing, temperature, altitude and soil conditions bring forth this dream come true flavored cup of heaven. Brews a beautiful yellow cup and definitely a must try for any tea enthusiast!
Flavor and steeping notes: On first steep, expect a buttery, milky, and smooth cup. As you continue to steep the leaves, the buttery notes transform to a light cream as the floral orchid notes come to full bloom and then release a classic jade-style minerality and fruitiness. This is truly a journey for your taste buds, and we recommend getting at least a few steeps out of the same leaves. For each new steep, add 15-30 seconds of steeping time to achieve maximum flavor as the leaves unfurl.
Steeping Guide:
Amount of tea per 8oz cup: 1 tsp
Water Temperature: 195F
Steep Time: 2-3 minutes, add 15-30 seconds for every subsequent steep. Can steep the same leaves 3 - 5 times, sometimes even more.

Milk Oolong Loose tea
I enjoy the slight sweetness of the creamy, smooth loose leaf tea. Great in the early afternoon.

Worth every penny
I was so surprised at how incredible this tea tastes. It's expensive but I'll definitely get another order at some point. The flavor is buttery and smooth. It's hard to convey how good it is with words, if you love tea I highly recommend you try it out!

Sensual. Unreal
I was not prepared for the experience this tea gave me. I have never had a cup of oolong prior to this and I’m afraid I may have set the bar too high now. The bouquet and fruity floral buttery flavor of this tea nearly knocked me over. Not because it was strong , because it was so perfectly balanced and unlike any other cup of tea I’ve had. Splurge.
