A popular green tea from Japan. As opposed to the pan fired method of drying, this tea is steamed after picking. Sweet, mild tea with bittersweet grassy notes.

Not very good
Sorry to say it, but this is not very good. It's not the bright green I expect from sencha, more olive colored. It doesn't smell grassy or fresh, more like dry hay. Not to my taste.
